E-Mail Encryption

When sending secret information by e-mail you are always exposed to risk. A message and its attachments are transferred through tens of servers, leaving a copy on each of them. If you do not want this information to get wrong hands you need to encrypt it.
Regular encryption does not help because a key for encryption is generated automatically and cannot be accessed. You cannot send this key, but our unique technology allows encryption of files for someone using his public key from RSA-2048 key pair.
When your addressee receives this file he or she will need only to double-click on it and it will open with default application.
Of course, he shall be equipped with n-Crypt solution as well. He or she may possess n-Tegrity or any of n-Pass solutions.

Technological background

E-Mail encryption utility is provided with Professional version of every product. It utilizes asymmetric encryption layer, using recipient’s public key for encryption. When encrypting the file, cryptographic software first generates random key, encrypts the file using this key and then encrypts it with public key of the addressee.
When the file is received by the recipient, his application decrypts it with his private key stored within his copy of n-Pass

How it works?

In order to encrypt file for someone user needs first to get his public key. An easy and user-friendly option of keys exchange is provided by the n-Pass. By exporting of personal information and sending it to a group of n-Pass Pro users, one can give them an option to encrypt files for him.
n-Crypt Pro provides an option not only to encrypt file for someone, but also to send it as attachment through easy one-click procedure. Right-click on a file you would like to encrypt, select n-Crypt -> Encrypt and e-mail to… and select a recipient from the list of users that you have previously added to your contacts in the n-Pass.
